After hiring this bike and went adventuring around Luang Prabang. This waterway is a small off shoot of the Mekong and as the water is low due to the chinese damming the Mekong the local monks have used the banks for vegetable farming.
Just around the bend is the mighty Mekong river itself, I caught a ferry across the river and ventured into the hills to check out the locals, was amazing.
